This course is designed to help you understand and apply AI in a practical, responsible way—without needing a technical background. The focus is on real work: saving time, improving clarity and consistency, and building repeatable workflows you can use immediately.
You’ll see examples from three common environments where AI can be especially useful:
K–12 leadership and school operations
Business operations and internal teams
Professional associations and membership organizations, where AI can help members find answers faster, use resources more effectively, and apply best practices with less friction
Throughout the course, we emphasize two things:

Depending on the modules you complete, you will learn how to:
Identify tasks AI can improve—and tasks it shouldn’t be used for
Use AI to support writing, summarizing, planning, and decision-ready communication
Build or configure AI assistants trained on your organization’s materials (documents, SOPs, training content, and reference resources)
Create repeatable workflows so AI support is consistent—not ad hoc
Understand core concepts around privacy, access control, and safe implementation
The course blends short, practical lessons with guided examples. In some sections, you’ll also see demonstrations of purpose-built AI assistants trained on real organizational materials—similar to what many schools, businesses, and associations use to support their teams.
